I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, camping, cycling, and mountaineering. I grew up in the mountains of west Georgia and moved to east Tennessee in 1981. I attended Carson Newman College, and then entered UTCVM where I graduated in 1996.

My wife and I opened Fairview Animal Hospital in 2002 after long standing desire to own our own practice. We decided on Maryville, realizing the beauty of both the land and the community around it. We have enjoyed raising our family and caring for others, and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.

I attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, and relocated from Montgomery, AL to Maryville in 1986. My husband, Steve, took a position at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and we have called Tennessee home since then! In my free time, I enjoy anything outdoors, including horseback riding, kayaking, fishing, and gardening. We have a small farm and all sorts of pets!

My favorite part of my job at Fairview Animal Hospital is working with our clients and their fur kids to keep them healthy and happy! I also enjoy the camaraderie of our work family.

I am originally from Denver, CO and came to Knoxville to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine from UT. When not caring for our furry clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, sons and menagerie of pets. I also love to spend time outdoors.

I have a special interest in animal behavior and helping our patients be as stress-free as possible during visits to our office, as well as focusing on preventative care and weight-loss management. I love working with this amazing team of doctors and staff here at Fairview Animal Hospital.

I enjoy exploring the beautiful mountains around us, snuggling with my chihuahuas and knitting or reading a good book. My favorite part about working at Fairview Animal Hospital is working with all the wonderful people and pets here!
